Emma Faye, the Clean Reads Queen, is an Audie and SOVAS-nominated and Sultry Listener’s Award-winning audiobook narrator. With over 170 audiobooks recorded in her professional home studio and 20+ years of acting experience, she excels at diving deep into characters and story, bringing them to life in an authentic and heartfelt way. Specializing in Clean Reads, her favorite genres are YA fantasy, middle-grade, closed-door romances, and Christian nonfiction. Emma pours her heart into every project, fully immersing her listeners in the worlds she voices.

Though she calls California home, Emma currently resides in Utah. Out of the booth, you’ll often find her on stage in local theatre productions or snuggling with her six beloved cats. Emma is a proud fantasy/sci-fi nerd who loves cosplaying at comic conventions and Renaissance Faires and watching classic sci-fi shows. She also enjoys using her digital marketing degree by teaching narrators how to rock their online presence.

What is a Clean Read?

Emma Faye, aka “The Clean Reads Queen,” loves to narrate clean and wholesome books. Many books fit this even if they are not labeled as “clean,” such as YA fantasy, Christian fiction, faith-based non-fiction, middle grade, and more. Simply put, Emma Faye will not narrate books with excessive language or blasphemy (absolutely no f-words) or explicit on-page sex scenes. Feel free to reach out about a project if you are unsure.

 

    Romance

    Some mild swear words are okay, but no f-words or derogatory hate speech.

    Language

    Closed-door only; intimate moments are not explicit, and clothing stays on.

    Violence

    As long as it’s not overly gratuitous.

    Drugs

    No illegal/underage substance use as the central theme/character.
